STORY OUTLINE: What is the story about and who is involved

The story is about Crawley Town FC going top of the conference for the first time in their history after beating previous leaders Mansfield 2-1 at the Broadfield Stadium on 13th September. It involves the manager Steve Evans and a few of the players talking about the secrets behind their early success this season and to see how excited the team is to be appearing on Setanta Sports for the 1st time in this campaign (vs Salisbury on 30th Oct & vs Ebbsfleet United on 17th Nov).

RESEARCH: What will you need to find out and how will you go about doing it

I will need to find out when they started their pre-season training and how big/small the squad is to see if that has an effect on mid-week games. I will find out why they had points deducted the last couple of years and why they don’t have one this season. I will find this out by looking on their official website and interviewing the players and other members of the club.
